The CGS Labs product suite (Platea, Autopath, Autosign, Site Design) provides users with an option to create a new profile to connect to the CGS Labs tools. This can be problematic for users that already use their own custom profile. For network users may also have problems accessing a CGS Labs license when they need it because another users has accidentally invoked a CGS labs command during a CAD session.
The CGS Labs tools address these issues by:
Allowing users to add the CGS Labs application to their current profile.
Allows users to switch the availability of CGS Labs on/off, preventing them from accidentally running it when it isn't required.

Setup
Download CGS-Tools and extract the contents to a folder on your local machine.
BricsCAD
In BricsCAD run the MENULOAD command, browse to the CGS-Tools folder and select the CGS-Tools.CUI file, then pick the Load button.
DO NOT use the MENU command to do this! If you do, then you will lose ALL your other menus.
AutoCAD
In AutoCAD run the CUILOAD command, browse to the CGS-Tools folder and select the CGS-Tools.CUIx file, then pick the Load button.
If requested, you will need to approve loading of the related lisp tools.
DO NOT use the MENU command to do this! If you do, then you will lose ALL your other menus.
Once loaded you will see the following commands are available on the CGS Tools tab on the Ribbon.
Commands:
CGS-TOGGLE
Toggles the loading of CGS Lab On/Off. This command carries out two actions:
Adds/Removes the required CGS Lab paths to the CAD applications support file search path.
Adds/Removes a check to that the CGS Lab application is loaded.
Following changes you will need to re-start the CAD application.
CGS-SET-VERSION
A utility to change the default CGS labs version to use.

This application requires CGS Labs to be installed to work.
