Bricsys have posted a video demonstration of BricsCAD V13 Platinums Assembly Modeling capabilities. The example shows how to attach parts or sub assemblies (all of which are dwg files), editing sub assemblies, adding a bill of materials, and making use of the x-solids hardware library.

A rather subtle feature introduced with BricsCAD V13 is the ability to click and drag on objects to move and copy them. Its subtle in that it provides no prompting, or graphicical indication when you use it. In fact move has been available since V11, with the copy feature added with V13.
A new feature introduced with BricsCAD V13 is Dynamic UCS. This subtle feature will prove to be a major time saver for those working in 3D, as demonstrated in the video below. This video also shows Automatic Command Completion in action, which is another new feature with V13.

Bricsys have just anounced that from today, September 3 2012, all NEW full license keys - all languages and all platforms - are enabled for Bricscad V13. Please note that this does not apply for people upgrading from an earlier version.
