BricsCAD Platinum has matured to become quite a useful tool for working with sheetmetal. Bricsys.TV has recently added a four part video series prepared by Damian Harking of Sofoco where he demonstrates using sheetmetal to create a workbench for a commercial kitchen. He also includes the source files to allow you to try it out for yourself.
Bricsys have posted a video demonstration of BricsCAD V13 Platinums Assembly Modeling capabilities. The example shows how to attach parts or sub assemblies (all of which are dwg files), editing sub assemblies, adding a bill of materials, and making use of the x-solids hardware library.
